I've mentioned this before, but I thought it was work restating-- since I went to an all-girls high school and most of my time was spent in a uniform of some type- school, volleyball, and basketball-- I really do have an on/off switch when it comes to fashion. All my classmates and I were so casual- wearing no make-up, wearing sweatpants and oversized sweatshirts all week. Then came the weekend with boys- talk about 0 to 60 in no time!

I'm still the same way! I think I only have the capacity to get dressed three times a week. And I really hope I see you on one of those three days. I'm sure some people, especially my friends at USF, see me and think to themselves, "there's no way she knows anything about fashion. Why does she have a blog!"

Even if I don't get dressed, I hardly leave the house without makeup, mostly because I love it so much and think it's fun. I have a fast routine for every day and can get ready in five minutes. When I'm going out to dinner or a fun event it usually takes me 30 minutes. I've got Taylor Swift on and I am rocking out, taking my time. #blankspace

So, today I am sharing my daily routine and products that I like to use. I am curious how this will change when I have a little baby running around! Stay tuned!

Step 1: Esteé Lauder Resilience Lift Firming/ Sculpting Face and Neck Creme. Esteé Lauder always reminds me of my Nana (my maternal grandmother). She had the best skin and used Esteé Lauder products exclusively. I love the smell and how light weight this creme is. I also love the idea of wearing something that makes me more resilient! #girlpower. Whichever face creme you use, just make sure if has SPF in it. I like to splurge every once in a while and get Premier Cru La Reme Riche from Caudalie. For a "save", I like Ultra Repair Cream from First Aid Beauty or Hope in A Jar from Philosophy.

Step 2: Bare Minerals "Prime Time" Foundation Primer. Foundation always wears better with some primer. I was first introduced to this amazing product when I received an AMAZING package of goodies from Bare Minerals. I love discovering new products and was grateful to be introduced to this non-greasy primer. A lot of the Bare Minerals products are great for sensitive, dry skin and I've been loving them as it's been getting colder. I also love Smash Box Photo Finish Color Correcting Foundation Primer. I feel like the wicked witch of the East when I am putting it on!

Step 3: Make-Up Forever Liquid Foundation. THIS IS THE BEST FOUNDATION EVER. I am a loyal Make-Up Forever customer, but I cannot say enough great things about this foundation. It is water-based and is so light weight. They have a great selection of colors, perfect for every skin tone. In between seasons when my skin color is changing, I will usually buy one shade lighter and one shade darker than normal and will mix the two together. I will not switch products, even if Pat McGrath tweets me and says to.

Step 4: Make-Up Forever Duo Mat Powder Foundation.  Not much to say here. It's simply the best. When I'm running out the door or know I will be swimming later, I skip the liquid foundation and use just the powder.

Step 5: Nars in Laguna Bronzer and MAC blush for contouring. When applying bronzer you are supposed to make a "3": sweep across your forehead, along your cheek bones, and under your chin. Smile and apply light blush on the apples of your cheeks.

Step 6: Eyes-- this one's a doozie because I love eye make-up! I love a MAC palette or the Urban Decay Naked Palette. I just got the Make-Up Forever pencil eyeliner. I also love my new Nude Palette by The Balm Cosmetics. See my previous posts about The Balm Cosmetics here.

Hope this routine helps! Don't forget when you leave the house to SMILE! Life is all about having fun!
