Yes, this post is about the perfect pillow. I absolutely love pillows. Every time I go to a furniture or home decor store I come home with a pillow. Even if they don't sell pillows, I some how convince the manager to sell me a decorative floor sample.
Our bed is full of pillows-- I'm looking at it now and we have six pillows on there. In our living room we have two on each couch and two on each chair, so eight in total. I love changing them with the seasons-- it's a fast way to change the look.
But out of all the dozens of pillows in our house, my absolute favorite is the one that is the most functional. I have named this pillow "The Fluffer Nutter" and I always say to Jesse, "where's my fluff?". It's usually on the floor because in the middle of the night Jesse throws all of the pillows off of the bed on to the floor.
"The Fluff" helps me fall asleep anytime, day or night. Since it is hungarian goose down, it's literally light as a feather (it's actually Colleen's. It some how ended up at our place and I won't give it back. She doesn't even know I have it. Shhh... don't say anything. She will never know. Plus, she doesn't read my blog so she will never find out!). When Jesse stays up late working or I need to take my weekly Saturday afternoon nap, I just throw the fluff over my eyes and drift into a deep sleep. Yes, I guess you're right. I could get an eye mask, but I just don't think it would work as well as the fluff. I am grateful for all of the amazing night's sleep I have had because of my trusty fluffer nutter.
[The picture on the right is from Friday night. I came home from celebrating my best friend Liz at her going away and just wanted to pass out. Jesse snapped this picture of me with the fluff over my head.]
