dress: Kate Spade (love this one and just added it to my wishlist) // shoes: c/o sole society // clutch: Kate Spade (old, love this one)

Happy Tuesday! I hope everyone enjoyed their Monday, especially if you had it off for President's Day! It was absolutely gorgeous in the city and I spent the morning unpacking, cleaning, and getting organized for the week before heading out to enjoy the sunny summer, I mean February day!! I think I enjoyed the weather more than anyone in the city because we had just come from 3 degree weather in New York. When we were in New York wearing a thousand layers, I said to Jesse it feels like we are doing the ice bucket challenge every five minutes. That wind was something else! One of the many reasons why I could never be a New Yorker (I'll be sharing the rest of the reasons soon)!

Before we left, we went out to dinner and I wore my favorite Kate Spade dress and Sole Society heels. We went to a neighborhood spot and yes, my outfit was probably a little over the top for the occasion but I figured it was the last time I'd fit into this dress and possibly the last time I'd wear heels that high! I usually opt for dresses with sleeves because I feel naked if my arms are exposed. It's hard for me to remember the days of wearing tube tops and halters in college!

I get a few readers asking about my hair and make-up and I'm working on a post that shows all the details of how I do it, but I just wanted to say that I do it very fast! I've always been able to get ready super fast. Actually, the thing that takes me the longest is drying my hair.

Some of my favorite spots for a fun date night are: Foreign Cinema, flour + water (it's where we went on our first date and go every year for the anniversary of our first date), de la rosa, Pomelo, and Saru.

The places I want to try in the next couple of weeks:

Frances- Jesse went a few weeks ago and loved it.

Chino -  It's been on my list since it opened.

Octavia- Opening soon by the same chef as Frances. It's in the old Baker and Banker location.

Straw-  Casual carnival food in Hayes Valley.

I'm so appreciative of all of the kind comments I've received on Facebook and Instagram from friends and readers about my maternity style. I still can't believe that I am 25 weeks. Did you see my update yesterday? You can read it here! Also, I forgot to mention yesterday that our baby girl kicks SO much! She is very active and loves moving around. Hopefully when she gets bigger in the next couple of weeks my friends can feel her!

xoxo, Caroline
