dress: Brochu Walker // necklace: Chanel // tights: Walgreens // boots: Kate Spade on sale now! (also love these)

Happy last day of March!! I hope everyone has their April Fools tricks all cued up for tomorrow- I will be on high alert for any pranks. I have a few mantras that I've created and live my life by. One of them is, "you can't trick a trickster!" I am one of the most trickiest people ever and always felt like my calling was to be a con-artist. Maybe I was inspired by Dana Carvey in "Opportunity Knocks" or the darling actress in "Curly Sue", whom I actually had the chance to meet when she starred as Bebe in the San Francisco revival of "A Chorus Line" in 2006 (which is funny because her mother played Bebe in the original tour). Both of these actors play con-artists and I realized that I could probably do that!

I only use my con-artist skills only when I find it extremely necessary: flying and trying to get my seat upgraded and in college when my flip phone would get water damage and I'd have to strong arm the associate into giving me a replacement.

One thing that is not a con is how great the pieces from Brochu Walker are. I partnered with them (see previous post here) to offer a free Jenna sweater with every purchase when you use this link. Hurray! Because today is the last day for the promotion! Also, this dress is on sale!! I love that it's called "The Looker!"

This dress is so luxurious, comfortable, and has been my go-to piece recently with my growing bump! The tricky part of this dress is that it's not actually two layers. The white slip is faux! I also love that I'm wearing tights I picked up from Walgreens (in Queen size :) ) for our New York trip. I get most of my tights at Walgreens, unless I find a pair that I absolutely love (like these). What can I say? I'm a bargain shopper! I can't wait for my free Jenna sweater when I purchase something from Brochu Walker!!!

Have a great day!

xo, Caroline
