Happy Tuesday and 2nd day of my favorite month, February!! Looking at these photos you might think that I am such a foodie and love eating thick strips of bacon. While I am not quite at foodie status yet (not sure how you even get there: total restaurants visited? first name basis with the chef? ability to recreate recipes at home?), I think I might be on my way there after my incredible experience at Hog & Rocks this past weekend.

I was delighted to be a guest of my friend Emily of JetSetting Fashionista and Andrew Freeman & Co. to indulge in Hog & Rocks' brunch offerings. I had been to Hog & Rocks once before for dinner with friends years ago and it was great to go back and try their delicious oysters, french toast, eggs benedict, and delicious craft cocktails-- my favorite was the Spiced Pear Bellini and the Pimm's Cup.

I had such a wonderful time eating the delicious food, meeting the staff behind this extraordinary place, and realizing how much I love brunch. I will definitely be going out to brunch more with friends because it is easy as a new mom to pop out of the house while the little one is sleeping, eat some yummy food, and be back home before nap time is over.

But I think my favorite part of the day was glancing out the window and seeing two Mission dads with long beards, beanies, and babies! Both of them were wearing their babies in carriers and feeding them bottles as they ate brunch. I love a good little dad date!

I hope everyone has a chance to check out Hog & Rocks!

Thank you to my friend Emily and Andrew Freeman & Co. for hosting me as their guest!
