Good Morning, Critters!

That salutation seems especially appropriate today after a fabulous weekend at Lillian's daycare's summer picnic in Sonoma and then a quick visit to Train Town off of the Sonoma Square! If you have a little one you have to take them! Admittance is free and you purchase tickets to ride the train and small carnival rides like the airplanes, roller coaster, carousel and more. We just rode the train and it was SO MUCH FUN!! You ride around the property and then stop for a small visit in Lakeville where they have a tiny town set up and animals you can feed. We just looked at the animals and I loved seeing all of the little children who were so fearless in sticking their hands right at the animals' mouths to feed them-- so not my style. I am afraid one of them is going to bite my fingers off!

We were probably there for an hour and it was the perfect activity between Lillian's naps. If head up to Sonoma I recommend:

Breakfast at Sunflower Cafe and get the mimosa and sit on the back patio

Head to Train Town for some fun

Picnic on the Sonoma Square

Head to Sweet Scoops for homemade ice cream

Rent Bikes and a Chariot for the little one

Visit the Sonoma Mission

Relax poolside at the Sonoma Mission Inn

I've spent the last four weekends in Sonoma- Memorial Day, for Lori's Bachelorette weekend, Father's Day, and this past weekend. Each weekend it has gotten hotter and hotter! I think it is going to be boiling for 4th of July! This Vineyard Vines dress is so perfect for the summer because of the cute gingham print but also because the material is nylon and dries so quickly-- perfect for those hot summer days!!!
