family fun at lemos farm in half moon bay.

Every weekend we wake up and come up with a plan to go have some fun. It usually starts with me saying to Jesse, "do you want to go to Sonoma?" and we throw out a bunch of options until we  settle on something fun.

Our favorite places to visit on the weekend as a family are Sonoma, The Bay Area Discovery Museum, Train Town in Sonoma, Burlingame Avenue, Golden Gate Park, Stonestown, Tilden Park and Crissy Field.

We decided to go check out Lemos Farm in Half Moon Bay. It was our first time and it was really darling. It is known for having a great Halloween celebration, but we really enjoyed visiting it, riding the "train", pony rides, hay ride, touring the Christmas tree farm, playing in the playground, and feeding the goats.

It first opened in the '70s and a lot of it seems original, so don't expect the shiny perfection you can expect at Disneyland. But Lillian absolutely loved running around. I loved that we didn't bump into anyone we know!

After Lemos Farm we went and grabbed some sandwiches and had  picnic on the beach at Venice Beach State Park. Lillian was running and splashing in the tidepools and it was so fun to watch her love the water.

If you're looking for a fun family adventure, check out Lemos Farm!
