Family fun at Disneyland.

A few weeks ago we went to Disneyland for a family celebration and to say we had a great time was an understatement. My sister Colleen was going to be in Anaheim for a conference, which coincided with her 30th birthday, so we jumped at the chance to join her at The Happiest Place on Earth.

Disneyland was a blast and even more fun than I remembered. Going to Disneyland was always a very fun vacation for my family when we were growing up. Taking Lillian for the first time was more special than we could have imagined.

We stayed at the Anaheim Marriott at the Convention Center because that's where Colleen's conference was and honestly, it was perfect! When we go back again we will for sure be staying there again. The staff was incredibly friendly and on our last day gave Lillian a big Minnie Mouse stuffed animal and set of Minnie ears-- which was perfect because we didn't buy any souvenirs.

I have only a few tips if you are bringing a little one to Disneyland- bring in a water bottle for them and fill with bottled water or tap there. It's important to keep them hydrated. Definitely, bring a stroller!! We were thinking we wouldn't bring one and we ended up bringing a travel stroller and it was absolutely perfect! Third tip is know where First Aid is located and use their services. I had a cut on my foot and it hurt to walk. Jesse told me to power through it...lol. He's so intense sometimes. Thank goodness I went to first aid and got some bandaids! It felt so much better after that (sorry- not chic, but helpful info).

Finally, definitely get the DisneyApp and MaxPass. I think it's $10 a person but it's worth it because you get complimentary images taken by Disney photographers- so nice to get a group shot, as well as photos with the characters. The MaxPass also is the modern FastPass so you can ride the rides faster.

Lillian went on all of the rides that she was eligible for based on her height. She even went on Haunted Mansion and wasn't scared! I was so impressed with her all weekend!

When we came back from Palm Springs I was feeling so great! Having our trip planned shortly after kept the good vibes going! We can't wait for our next trip!
